This is the same as French Canadian. French people who move to Quebec would not be French Canadian because these are people whose ancestors came from France centuries ago and settled in the French areas of Canadians. Usually Italian-Americans are those who have 3 or more generations in America. They've formed their own culture in America that differs from Italy but includes aspects of it.

I know you posted this three years ago but I just started doing this again and came across oil washing by a mistake. I would use oil to increase my sebum production to coat all of my hair strands and eventually get full sebum coverage. Thanks for the additional background information on this method. God Bless.

There has not been a time in this country where Black people were not under assault. We have not lived in peace and harmony with society for ONE single year over the course of 528 years! We got out of slavery, then came Jim Crow. We leave the South to escape Jim Crow, then we get terrorized by the Jewish, Italian, and Irish gangsters of the North. We unify to protect ourselves there and here comes the mass immigration of Europeans taking away our jobs, so we try to build our own cities (Black Wall street), they get jealous and BURN IT DOWN. The trauma goes on and on and on, and it hasn't stopped yet. Now we dealing with another Mass immigration from the South border. They've opened the flood gates on us and are allowing millions of immigrants pour into cities. These immigrants not moving in all White neighborhoods, they moving in all black neighborhoods and taking them over. WE BEING REPLACED in REAL TIME, and in a little while, they going in on us. Things are about to get real ugly, and if there was ever a time when we need to be together as a race, IT'S NOW!

Love the PRIDE you have in your African coily hair...I love the unique "puffy" hair. A water, oil, & gel caste keeps the frizz low, but the volume of puffy curls is everything for me!

I love this, but I am wondering something. How does your hair not look greasy afterwards? I tried washing oil out of my hair with just water and it did not work at all. Obviously, using shampoo after oil is counterproductive. Now, I don't have African hair, I have boring white straight hair. :p Does that make such a big difference? Or does the conditioner also get rid of some oil?

We are all from Africa. Black Caribbean, black American etc etc We were taken out of our homeland unfairly .. yes we may not know where specifically we came from in Africa but we are all still from Africa.. we all know what happened to remove us from the mother land and must come to terms with this deep within the heart and mind... specific tribe is abit lost for some but the key isnt so much the specifics ( although this is good and important to know) but more getting back to the brotherhood sisterhood of our homeland and people... being proud to say as the decendants of our foreparents: I am African.. those who went through slavery and pain of it would have felt proud to hear us say such today if they were alive to see this, knowing what they endured.. it's OK not knowing the nitty gritty, that was the intention of the masters to keep us half and half and not feeling fully comfortable to say it, not totally knowing within we are the same as someone born In Africa > brothers and sisters ... Say it proudly, it's OK not knowing the tribe we are all one people made of God!! Dont feel any less to say it because of these missing links... i to was taken from Africa on the slave ship !! So I don't know the tribe i came from but I am at a place now where I feel proud to say it inspite of this missing bit of information.. because that's not the key .. the key is knowing who we are and taking back the pride of what they stole from us-our identity!! Tribe or not we are Africans and proud if it !! That was what they wanted seperate us so we are never bonded within, always feeling like we dont belong there ..we belong there and we take back our pride and unite as one Africa ... they have not won with such terrible measures of divsion. God is awakening us all! Thats how they broke our strength, always by dividing us, our tribes, our families .. our foreparents would be proud to know we are awakening.. I am Christian and proud to say this!! The power in unity strategy is what need be believed in again. Blessings to you both! I love your channel I followed you years ago and just found your channel again because your channel seem to have had a name change 😊😊 Stay blessed you are both beautiful beautiful African women 🌻

WE CAN MAKE ALL THE JUSTIFICATIONS ALL WE WANT AS BLACK PEOPLE ABOUT OUR PLIGHT IN THIS WORLD.BUT WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF OUR SUFFERING. EVEN THE ANIMALS ON THE WILD AFRICAN SAVANA LIVE IN A PRIDE OR A HEARD. IF THE LIONESS KNOWS IT IS RISKY TO HAVE CHILDREN WITH OUT A MALE LION GUARDING THE PRIDE. BLACK WOMEN ARE OUT OF CONTROL.

I agrée! I think the term ‘African-American’ should be reserved for Blacks in American with history in America spanning centuries. Other blacks in America directly from the African continent, should refer themselves based on the African county they are from. So a Ghanaian person whether born or bred in America should not call themselves African-American instead it should be Ghanaian-American, Nigerian-American etc. Great content
